CIMA (Cyprus Incentives & Meetings Associates) is delighted to announce the first Meet in Cyprus virtual event on 14th & 15th April 2021 with the collaboration of the Deputy Ministry of Tourism and Cyprus Convention Bureau. We warmly invite MICE professionals around the world to join us for the first Cyprus virtual showcase for the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events industry.

Visitors will be able to book one-to-one meetings with selected DMC’s. hotels and other suppliers as well as attend panel discussions, workshops and interactive events through our purpose-built event platform.

The business hours of the Meet in Cyprus Show will be 10:00-18:00 EET on both days and we warmly invite you to stay on at the end of the day for our special entertainment events. Individual meetings can be pre-booked or on a walk in basis and will last for 30 minutes. In case you are unable to book an appointment with one of our exhibitors, please do get in touch and we will do our best to arrange an additional slot for you.

CIMA Cyprus

CIMA was first established was formed in 1997 to represent the stakeholders to the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events (MICE) industry in Cyprus. While the founding members were DMCs, today the association represents DMCs, PCOs, Hotels, Venues, AV, transport companies and ancillary partners to the industry in Cyprus.

The Deputy Ministry of Tourism constitutes a transformation of the Cyprus Tourism Organisation (CTO) and was established and operates in accordance with the provisions of the Law providing for the Establishing of a Deputy Ministry of Tourism, the Appointment of a Deputy Minister of Tourism to the President and for relevant matters of 2018.

The Cyprus Convention Bureau (CCB) is designed to assist the organisation of business events in Cyprus from abroad and offers an attractive programme of grants, benefits and incentives, with perks such as complimentary giveaways and informative material, to airport Meet and Greet and hospitality vouchers, along with technical and financial support.

Hermes Airports is the operator of both Larnaka and Pafos International Airport. A consortium comprised of nine local and international shareholders, it assumed management & control of the Airports in 2006, under a 25-year BOT Concession Agreement with the Republic of Cyprus. The new passenger terminal in Pafos opened in November 2008, and in Larnaka, November 2009, making the best use of a substantial investment.
